Analytical Balances

Analytical balances are used in laboratory settings. These are extremely accurate and sensitive weighing devices. They are made with a high degree of accuracy in mind. When a sample is put on one side of a weighing pan, our devices work on the principle of electromagnetic force restoration to balance the pan against a calibrated mass on the other side. By changing the electromagnetic force until the pan is in an equilibrium state, the balance is calibrated. In order to insulate analytical balances from air currents and other environmental conditions that can impair the accuracy of the weighing, these devices are contained in draught shields or other enclosures.
